for California Advocacy Training
Presented by
Environmental & Energy Consulting (EEC) is offering an advocacy training for the Association of Professional Landscape Designers—California Chapter and its members. The training will be offered via webinar, and will be designed to inform and train members on state-level advocacy. Key topics will include:
- Overall structure and key roles of and in the California State Legislature
- Relationship between the California State Legislature and California State Agencies
- California’s legislative process and timeline
- How to increase APLD visibility in California politics
- How to engage in advocacy “at” the California State Capitol to further APLD-CA’s mission
The webinar will include about a 60-minute training led by EEC, followed by 30 minutes of open conversation.
This webinar is free for all APLD-CA members and, while it will be recorded, registration is required. Once registered, you will receive the Zoom link and access information.
